Tattoos and Piercings

So, I already know opinions will vary on whether or not a person likes tattoos and/or body piercings, so this question is more what do you like and what do you like about it? Do you like having them or just looking at them? Do you prefer nothing at all?

I dislike how fully tattood became hip. It’s normalized too much, imho.

I will never understand people’s urge to put thousands of Euro’s worth of tattoo’s on their body.

When I had my first divorce, I’ve let a good friend who was a tattoo artist at the time, tattoo one thing.

In my own handwriting it says “good things happen to those who wait” because I saw it as some sort of carma.
That tattoo is on my fight side rib cage. I keep forgetting it’s there.

On vacation suddenly my stephdaughter says “hey, you have a tattoo” and for a glimps I was like “where ?”

Piercings. I like a pierced navel and pierced nipples on a woman also have some erotic value to me. My girlfriend doesn’t like it and that’s okay. Her boobs are the best looking boobs I’ve even seen. So I will not complain. Ever.

Great question. I’m from a time when tattoos were not that popular. In the US, men drafted to serve in the Viet Nam war did get tattoos here and overseas, but I missed being drafted by one year.

I’ll be getting my first tattoo very soon as I approach my 70th birthday. The tattoo will be a subtle representation of the moniker I use for my name in this group… Colt1911.

I’ve encouraged Mrs Colt to get her belly button and clit pierced, but that ain’t gunna happen. She’s not interested in a tattoo either. Of course, I wanted her to get an anal oriented tattoo on her ass.

I do believe some people will experience tattoo and piercing regret, especially when face tattoos are involved. As a lifelong Libertarian, I don’t care what anyone does as long as their activities and behaviors do not adversely impact others.

I honestly can’t wait to get my first tattoo and I’m actively looking for an artist who can replicate my vision. It will be on the upper part of my arm which is a common location for tattoos on men.

Thanks for putting this question out there!

So, what inspired you to take the plunge and get inked at 70 after going this long without anything, if you don’t mind my asking?

Mr. Firefly isn’t overly fond of the idea of me being tattooed, though I think he’d relent if I really wanted something. There is one thing I’ve deeply considered getting tattooed on me and if the idea sticks with me as a definite, “yes, I need to do this” I think I will in about ten years time.

I suppose it’s a late in life “rite of passage”. Tats can generate questions, which is welcome by those who are inked. Some tats tell a story.

I’ve never been someone looking to draw attention to myself, but I will welcome the questions some might ask about my tattoo.

Colt 1911 is my screen name but it also represents my lifelong, adult hobby. The design I have in mind is intended to generate questions.

Mrs Colt and I work hard to stay healthy and live a very active, youthful life. Getting a tattoo is my way of satisfying that desire to be youthful while prompting the questions I hope I receive about the tat and my hobby.

Cate for the first time in her life is going to get a tattoo of wrist bracelet with flowers and a bumble bee landing on one of the flowers. The bumble bee will be on the underside of her wrist landing on a flower. Yesterday we were looking at designs on the web. I think she will design one of her own…

I’m glad this was raised as I’ll share my views on tattoos.

My father only ever gave me one bit of advice.. god, I wished he gave me more. I was so hungry for any wisdom that came from his mouth. What he gave me was “Son, you don’t want to get a tattoo on your body. Bcuz it will mark you, what sort of a man you are for life. People will take one look at you, see your tattoos and make an instant decision on your character. Whether that decision is correct or not.” Man, I have been so close to getting a tattoo, but dad’s words rang through me.

When I see ladies or chicks wearing tattoos, my preference is for full colour, must have a theme and a story to it. They can cover a large area of the skin. I can’t stand the current trend of the mindless, random, lifeless, B&W tattoos that girls get anywhere appearing on their skin. Sometimes I see a beautiful girl and she has half of her thigh in a lifeless tattoo, that is mostly in B&W with a bit of dark blue mixed in it. Idk, but it does nothing for me. Just as well we are all different, LOL!

This story is a beauty. My former boss was a Sergeant-in-arms, and then President of a Hells Angels in a chapter of the club in our city, before he left the club in over 25 years of being a member. Guess what? He had absolutely none, nada, zippo, tattoos! I asked him why? He said “Tattoos don’t mean a thing. They don’t show what sort of a man you are. That comes from within.” I have been to the clubhouse with him and met other members, and they all had tattoos.

With piercings, I do like them on ladies. I like them on the clit, nipples, and ears. I kinda think it looks hot. I just can’t help myself & think how painful that must be.. I have heard of one girl taking some bit of clothing off , catching one of the her breast nipples & ripping it off, partly off her nipple. She no longer wears any on her breast’s.

It’s a fine hobby, to be sure. One I’ve indulged in occasionally for years. When you get it, post a pic here so I can see.

Rite of passage… I like that.

Yeah, that it has gotten so mainstream is… Kinda wild to me, really. And it’s really strange realizing in my generation I’m probably a minority of having zero tattoos.

Thank you!!! If you’re gonna ink, have a story to tell with it, not, “idk, just thought it looked cool. Lol!” But your dad and your buddy are both right.

Oh, and I can’t speak to nipple piercings, but I’ve caught my earrings in sweaters before and that right properly HURTS! I cannot imagine catching a nipple ring in a shirt while pulling it off. OUUUCCHHH!!!

I’ll share it when it’s done. It will be identical to the colt in the picture below, but without the name Colt spelled out. Instead, I want “1911” tattooed in its place. I think the horse and “1911” will generate more questions than simply displaying the old, Colt Firearms logo that was used for all of its firearms. I respect my fellow members opinions. Where else in the world can you share discussion of anal sex, tattoos, and firearms!

There’s also cock piercings. I’d have to be stoned drunk, or stoned and drunk, for that to ever happen. I like women with piercings, but my anal sex life is no less satisfying because Mrs Colt isn’t pierced. I get my kink satisfied when she wears the leather strap harness and top.

I think that about pretty much all genital piercings. The thought just makes me light headed!

That is a sweeeet design! It’ll look great! Anybody who knows anything about that will figure it out immediately and everyone else will be blissfully ignorant. Either way, that’ll look really good!

I think I could be counted as a fan of tattoos and piercings. I find them very sexy.
however I don’t have much on my body.
I have two small tattoos, one on lower abdomen, a few very small characters saying I’m my husband’s sex slave. another on clavicle, some flowers and lines without special meaning, they are just very beautify.
I have ear piercings like many others. I think it’s very common. and also nipple piercings, I believe are the most sexy decoration, and they can also be used to pull or restrain my nipples during sex. the special part is I have 4 pairs of holes on my labia, often wearing 4 rings, so it’s like my pussy is locked, and saying it’s off limit.
all of them, expect the clavicle tattoo, they are made by my husband, so it’s also a kind of symbol of love and ownership.
we do have interests for more, but haven’t decide what.

I am a total cleanskin! When I was growing up my parents held similar views to some expressed already. They would say they looked common. For many of that generation tattoos were a sign of criminality and thus frowned upon and negative judgements made.

Tattoos throughout history have gone through quite a few trends and have been popular for periods of time, even a few of the nobility have been inked. The current resurgence apparently started in the 70s when it moved from military and counter culter to popular culture. So now is just about the right time for me to jump on board!

At one stage I was going to get myself an m-dot tattoo but I’m glad I didn’t, after all it’s really just a company trademark. I do have a big scar - a couple actually. My femur was severed and reattached. I always planned to have the location and date of the accident tattooed along the longest scar and an old Japanese proverb along another one on the back of my thigh, which translates to “fall down 7 times, get up 8.”

One day…

As for piercings I had the standard left ear done, because my first girlfriend wanted me to do it. Then one day in my 30s I saw all these dudes wearing suits and they had earings and I thought what tossers then I looked in the mirror and I was wearing a suit and an earing  so out it came.

I do like nipple piercings on women because it looks like their nipples are always erect, which at the same time robs you of watching them transition from soft to hard, which is such a turn on. It makes my cock get harder and arouses a desire to get really dirty.

If you don’t mind me asking, what caused the traumatic leg injury… car, motorcycle, a fall?

I was with a guy who had his manhood pierced. I used to always play with it while giving him oral pleasure. My tongue was always drawn to it.

I get sympathetic pain thinking about the piercing process. I suppose pain might be part of the attraction for those that pierce the head of the penis.

I’ve seen women with piercings in their clitoral hood, but never through the clit itself. I’d think the pain of a piercing through the meat of the clit is just as painful as a piercing through the head of a cock. Ouch!

Cycling accident, descending a hill fast and lost it - we must suffer for our art. Long story short; this scar has been opened up 4 times, placing metal in there and taking it back out again. So it’s a nice big scar - haven’t found any chics that dig it yet, but as you can see it’s a scar that tells a story. The tattoos would just be the epilogue.
