Oh good grief

Headline: anal sex leads to incontinence
Researchers: we didn’t ask the same questions to men and women… And we literally didn’t account for like, anything else… But this is definitely concerning and we should definitely be negative about this!

Like, did they ask if the women had had children? Because I’m here to tell you, incontinence is a thing after children and anal sex actually helped that, along with physical therapy and doing pelvic floor activating exercises.

I reckon exercise, activity level, and good ole gut health and common sense impact things a whole lot more than anal sex.

This is what I meant when I said the taboo surrounding anal sex is still far from gone.

My fiancee suffers from mild incontinence, caused by her menopauze. Anal sex had totally no infuence on it.

What a bunch of bullshit, or bollocks if you’re on the other side of the pond.

First, they defined incontinence to include mucous and liquid oozing from the ass. I proudly leave “liquid” in Mrs Colt’s ass every time we have sex. Additionally, Mrs Colt generates anal mucous during anal stimulation and penetration that provides a natural lubricant. Naturally, my cum and her anal mucous “leak” after anal sex. This ain’t incontinence in my opinion.

I’ve been part of this group for years and cannot recall one post where anyone discussed incontinence resulting from anal sex.

Once I was on a site where people could speak out freely because everyone was anonymous.

This topic was discussed and there were women replying of which some were doing anal sex for 40 years and never had any issue with even loss of spincter strenght.

These opinions seem to be meant to discourage people to try anal sex. But that birth can totally ruin a vagina is absolutely okay. Stupid world we live in.

Right?! I’m vaguely wondering if they include people having the runs in that, which is NOT a muscle problem.

I mean, I know I’m still fairly new to this sooner and you two are a singular couple, but I reckon if Mrs. Colt isn’t having trouble, terrible is likely the exception, not the rule, or a result of abusing, not using carefully. In which case, all bets are off anyway.

Completely agree with you. The lack of foreplay, care, and patience can lead to injury, and perhaps even incontinence. Her objection to anal much earlier in our marriage was because of my girth, which she was convinced would injure her. That’s more than six years ago now and she’s never once experienced pain or incontinence since she discovered the incredible pleasure associated with anal penetration.

Wow. I’m so glad to have stumbled across this thread, and particularly Backdoorlover’s mention of a link to menopause.

Recently my partner of 30 years told me she’s been leaking after our romps, and not just my jizz. We’ve been active anally since day 1, and almost exclusively anal for the majority of our time together.

Luckily for me the current situation has not even reduced her anal sex craving in the least, but I do think a casual mention of the menopause connection will help. I’ve also been researching pelvic floor strengthening routines that I can introduce at the same time.

Some people will surely be confused by the male teaching the female, but this is our norm. I realized rather quickly into our relationship that her country/culture does not teach anything about reproductive health or sex ed. Crazy. It’s a major first world country. Who woulda thunk?

As a man, I can’t recommend pelvic floor exercises for both men and women alike. Makes orgasms more intense, and if you do it right, also teaches you a lot about how the muscles in your pelvic floor work, and which you need to relax for anal. Kegels and similar exercises increases your pelvic dexterity, strength and stamina

Hormone replacement therapy for her is what eventually led to our anal only lifestyle. It was so effective, I started testosterone replacement therapy soon after. It has helped two people in their late 60’s enjoy a sex life resembling that of a couple in their 30’s. In addition to improving one’s sex life, HRT also improves sleep, mood, maintaining muscle mass and bone density. Happy to provide more info if needed.
