Asking the receivers. How much is too much, both in girth and/or length?
It’s a fact that you can fit much bigger things in the ass than in the pussy, but at some point you can no longer be prepared or trained for it, you still need to go slow until you fully adapt.
Average size is said to be 13.8cm (5.45in), and 11.9cm (4.69in) in circumference (which would be about 3.8cm (1.5in) in diameter, so width), and that would probably be no problem for anyone loving anal.
Can any of you give a real example of what you took but it was problematic, had to adapt to it, slowly.?!
Also, does it more often produce an issue when the tool is much longer or when it’s much thicker?
(I am a man, married. I certainly prefer “giving” anal than vaginal, but sometimes I have to take whats available.)

I don’t have a whole lot of experience, but when my partner and I do vaginal he hits my cervix pretty easily. In the butt, we haven’t had a problem. He’s probably around 5 inches. So length hasn’t been a problem for us for anal yet.
Girth has been a different story. While I haven’t hit a limit yet, I did a lot of work (and thanks to folks here) to stretch myself in preparation for our first time. So at this point, I would say width is my limiting factor, though I haven’t hit “the curve” yet, so my answer might change as I keep pushing.
I’m thick at 7” in girth. It’s a long story but my wife went from swearing I’d never penetrate her ass to anal only for the last 7 years.
