I’ve been meaning to introduce myself for a while so here goes. I’m a 29M, from a Muslim background, somewhat practicing and a virgin for various reasons.
After learning more about anal over the years, and reading posts here, I feel it’s something I need in a future relationship. The whole experience seems to require/build a higher level of deep intimacy and trust, and I’ve realised that everything about a woman’s ass is exciting to me. While searching for a partner, part of it now is trying to find someone who is open-minded or even shares the same passion.

Thanks! And no need to be embarrassed, Muslims don’t all agree on the details. Many do believe anal sex either shouldn’t really be done or consider it haram. That idea mostly comes from certain hadith (later recorded reports about what the Prophet was supposed to have said or done) rather than something explicitly stated in the Qur’an, so people place different weight on it.
Personally I try to focus more on the bigger spiritual ideas… love, trust, kindness, and mutual respect in a relationship. If something brings closeness and pleasure to both partners, I see that as a positive thing.
That’s pretty much how I see it too. There’s so much capacity for pleasure there, and it also seems very natural to be attracted to such a private part of a partner, so it’d be hard for me to see exploring that as something inherently wrong.
