20 years ago would have been the time to divorce. 20 years ago I thought our difficulties were maybe a year long speed bump. Amazing how one year turns into another, then another, and what you can get used to putting up with. She’s 72, and I’m 69. It might be a little late to raze the building and start a whole new future. There’s not a lot that can replace 35+ years of being witnesses to each other’s lives, when you should probably be bracing for sharing your twilight years, and who will sit with whom during hospital stays.
There is love. It is just not the way I wanted it to be. Incompatibility is an interesting challenge. I’m not on HRT and my testosterone level is 1128 ng/dl. with estrogen levels 3x those of my wife, even though she’s on HRT. Quite arguably her lack of interest is biologically predetermined.
So..
Anal only IS a thing, even when it’s entirely solo.
